Our Key Projects at GAHR

At Global Alliance for Human Rights (GAHR), we believe in action-driven advocacy to ensure that every individual, regardless of their health status, gender identity, or background, lives with dignity, respect, and equal opportunity. Our projects reflect our commitment to justice, health equity, and community empowerment.

⚖️ Dedicated Legal Aid Clinic for PLHIV
We established a specialized Legal Aid Clinic to support People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in accessing their legal rights under the HIV/AIDS Act, 2017. Through this initiative, we have addressed issues of discrimination, employment rights, healthcare access, and social protection for hundreds of individuals.

👶 Inclusion of HIV-Positive Children in Government Schemes
GAHR has worked tirelessly to ensure the inclusion of HIV-positive children under welfare programs like Palanhar Yojana, ensuring they receive financial aid, education, and protection. We continue to engage with government departments to advocate for inclusive and sensitive policy implementation.

👧 Positive Ladli – Empowering Young Women
Under our Positive Ladli Flagship Program, we provide scholarships and educational support to young girls living with or affected by HIV. GAHR envisions a future where these young women lead empowered, independent, and stigma-free lives.

🏥 Health Camps & National Advocacy
GAHR regularly organizes free health camps and advocates for the inclusion of PLHIV in national healthcare schemes. These camps provide check-ups, counseling, and awareness while fighting stigma in healthcare access.

🏠 Care Homes & Community Care Centres
We have established Care Homes and Community Care Centres to provide safe spaces, counseling, rehabilitation, and supportive services to PLHIV. These centers are crucial for those abandoned or isolated due to their HIV status.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Stakeholder Consultations & Workshops
GAHR organizes mega consultations and capacity-building workshops to bring together government officials, healthcare professionals, and civil society to collaborate on improving services for PLHIV and vulnerable populations.

🚩 Mega Awareness Campaigns
We conduct state-wide campaigns and padyatras to uplift the rights of PLHIV, LGBTQ+ communities, women, and children. Through rallies, street theatre, and media outreach, we spark public discourse, challenge stigma, and build solidarity.

🖼️ Visual Storytelling with AI
We utilize AI-generated visuals to enhance our storytelling and outreach—capturing the spirit of empowerment, advocacy, and compassion behind each initiative.
