What we are doing

Global Alliance for Human Rights (GAHR) is a non-profit making organization which strives to provide justice to all and focus on supporting those who are living with and affected with HIV/AIDS in India.

GAHR has more than 2000 people living with HIV/AIDS as its members and more are joining together in the fight for rights and justice.

It is needless to mention that we the people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) of India are undergoing high level of stigma, discrimination and isolation in the society. Many of us are dying due to non-affordable treatment, especially during Shortage, many a times doctors deny treatment and do not conduct surgeries because of stigma associated with HIV/AIDS and because PLHIVs can’t afford to pay.

Even HIV children take medicines (Anti Retro viral Therapy) but cannot do so for lack of proper nutrition.
